Knocking on doors
Saturday, 27 July 2013
The story had begun in August 2009. That’s when the idea of my around the world trip had come to my mind. It’d got me pumped up for first few weeks or so. I really had loved the idea, but after a few weeks I’d started to realize what that would actually mean. Pretty soon all I felt had been not only excitement, but also loneliness and fear. Anything worth doing is filled with uncertainty. Following our dreams can be lonely. People may simply not understand our enthusiasm.
Being a traveller
Saturday, 13 July 2013
I wasn’t always a world traveller. My parents hadn’t travelled very much when I was a young boy. However, by the strange move of the Hand of the Fate, traveling has become my passion, and one of the beautiful things about it is the therapeutic impact it has on my life. Sure, there might be hard times on the road, but it’s then when I feel alive, absorbed, undistracted, and lost in the moment.
Planning a trip
Saturday, 29 June 2013
The days are slipping by too quickly. Each day we’re thinking about the trip ahead of us and then in no time we will be in Sweden and Finland, driving through villages and towns, witnessing how people live there, and experiencing moments of great beauty. It’s unbelievable how fast the whole life goes by. I and Sylwia have been together ten years, and have two charming little daughters, but I really do feel that we’d met each other only yesterday.
Creating something from nothing
