A 6-hour trip from Jasper to Edmonton took us almost 15-hours. Our train was scheduled for 12:30PM, while we left the station after 2PM instead. Along the way, we ‘gained’ another few hours. At the end, we arrived to Edmonton with two happy yet tired children at 4AM – nine hours later than we should have. Relieved, we checked-in to our hotel half an hour later and went to bed straight away.
We were up on our feet by 9AM, grabbed a quick breakfast, rented a car, and by noon were exploring a truly stunning Alberta Railway Museum. Since the ‘train’ was the major theme of our adventure, the museum was on the very top of our must-visit list for Edmonton.
