Clarity of writing indicates clarity of thinking

The self-reflected writing produces priceless personal insights. It heightens personal awareness in a nearly magical way. But, in the world of tool obsession and analytics, the chase for more website traffic, and the need to be recognized through our achievements, can easily hinder us from true goals.

I learned not to visualize a great mass of audience and huge following for my travel projects. I have no expectations of ever making a living through writing. It’s a source of pleasure and write primarily to please myself, rather than strive for mass audience. If I entertain or inspire even a handful along the way, that’s great. But, it’s clear for me that writing would always be my center.
