Traveling is like many other things in our life. If we cross the line, we slowly start losing interest in the whole thing, no matter how much we may love it. One day we realize that we simply have enough.

For me personally it's all about setting up limits and having well-defined goals. That's why instead of travelling for a year or two in one go, I prefer to do my "mini-retirements" on a regular basis. That’s what helps me stay focused and not burn out.

"Dusty Dreams" is one of the most stimulating and uplifting episodes of my life. It's a report from my "mini-retirements" - a concept I came across in Timothy Ferris's book "The 4-hour work week" - where meetings, emails, and phone calls don’t exist for set period of time.
