My around the word trip from 2011 was a solo adventure. It was just me and the world. The trip helped with a lot of things. I wanted to do it, I said that I’m going to do that, and I made it happen. As I gained confidence, ‘I did it’ became ‘What else can I do’? So, I made a shift from an individually minded goal to family goals. A big part of my focus is to roam the world with my wife and our daughters. My small vision expanded and became a bigger vision.

Crossing Canada by rail is just another stepping stone. I and Sylwia are sitting down most of the weekends talking and imagining our post-Canada adventures. We don’t have the answers yet, but they will come soon.
