Today, in a great sense of wonder, we slowly navigated our way along the 3 Peaks of Annascaul, 7 kilometres long Meelin Hill loop in Co. Kerry. The trail is a little haven for the hillwalkers and the sight finders, but hiking boots are necessary as a lot of the walk is on a bogland, with some very wet places.
The 360-degree view over Slieve Mish Mountains range, the majestic Dingle Bay with the Atlantic Ocean in the distance, and the world-renowned Inch beach was even more impressive than I had imagined.
As a busy modern European, my life is always tightly scheduled, and well-planned. But our family walks became the best way for me to clear my mind. They give a great opportunity to ponder about more spiritual life and wonder about the moment.
