To mark the last day of the first part of our cross-Canada train journey, we ended up at Winnipeg’s world-class Assiniboine Park Zoo. It was a fun place to pop in for a few hours and savour a sunny and bright weather. A sweet interlude before our return home.

We’d been waiting for this trip for months, and we finally made it. This little accomplishment gave us wings for the next step!
