The beauty of my around the world trip was in the movement. There was so much time for reflection, which is a rare thing in these days of modern living. It was wonderful to share food and conversation with others. It made the trip so special.

Having a sense that I can go anywhere in the world and find new friendships is just unbelievable feeling. It makes me realize that no matter what kind of skin colours we have, no matter what kind of jobs we do, no matter what countries we are from, and no matter what languages we speak, all of us are members of this planet. It’s a small world and we are all connected.

Oh boy, what a relaxing thing it was to sit down, pick up tobacco and enjoy shisha with Mulchand. All that ceremony was a great way to chill out, and a quintessence of a few days we spent together while I was staying in Mumbai. When people delight in smoking a good tobacco, the time goes by and you don’t notice…

Meeting an exceptional person like Mulchand, someone with fascinating stories to share, someone who cares, who looks after others, who makes you feel comfortably in his own city, certainly carries lasting memories.
