There is no question about the fact that the Wild Atlantic Way is a land of incredible beauty. So, what else can I say? That the grass is green? That sheep are white or black? That there are plenty of opportunities to sit on its countless lovely beaches with feet covered with sand? That the coast is unspoiled. That tourists feel safe? That locals are very hospitable?
Falling into the easy way of it and experiencing it as an outsider, chasing daily mileages, passing through small towns and villages, absorbing sights like a sponge, is a rural idyll far away from the disruptions of the modern world.
