As we were heading farther north, we scheduled a stop on the Mullaghmore peninsula in County Sligo. And now I think that no journey through the Wild Atlantic Way can be fulfilled without a glimpse at the Classiebawn Castle. For centuries, it has witnessed the same scenery that we were seeing, the same rough and rocky shore, and the great blue overwhelming desert that stretches out as far as the eyes can see.
