As I wandered planet Earth, I learned lessons of hospitality and generosity that exceeded all my expectations.

I was deeply touched by the warmth of Rana – the owner of the Hostel Kolkata – who not only didn’t charge me for my stay, but he invited me to his own home and introduced to his family. Memories of random acts of kindness like this come washing over me. And when I look back, I realize that these were transcendental moments.

Unexpected support from all those Good Samaritans was inspiring. It meant the world to me. It impacted more spiritual aspects of my life. It lifted me up. It became part of the adventure. And, I’m grateful for their encouragement.
