Have you ever found yourself in a conversation that felt so engaging that you simply didn’t want it to end?
Since my soul is always happy to connect, my visit in the cigar club of ‘The Connoisseur Divan’ was an undisputed highlight of my stay in Singapore. And, I couldn’t have found better companions than Heru, Joshua and Jon. Although I’d never met them before, for that brief moment of time, I felt as I knew them for many years.
We puffed our cigars and drifted down the stream of thoughts for an hour or so. The conversation flowed happily and easily, and the room was filled with a good fellowship. I didn’t care what was happening in other parts of the world and what the weather was going to be the next day. All that mattered was ‘now’ and ‘there.’
Cigar smoking brings together people from different backgrounds or countries and bridges gaps of age or cultures. That’s so true!
Damn, that was a great evening! And, thank God for cigars!
