Great stimulation

Great stimulation

What impresses children is usually entirely different from what impresses their parents. And apparently, it takes years for kids to appreciate the beauty of the landscape like the one at Downpatrick Head in County Mayo.

But, it’s our, parents’, role to build their awareness of the diversity and the incredible things there are on our Planet Earth – the mountains, the lakes, the forests, the seas and on and on.

Our road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way provided a boost for our senses. Travelling in this way through a land of incredible beauty, day by day, hour by hour, trying to be aware of what was around is what provided a great stimulation.
