Zürich was fabulous. Although it’s one of the most expensive cities to visit in Europe, it’s also considered as one of the most beautiful. So, we spent the day exploring every inch of its Old Town.
Nestled around its historic heart were guild houses, churches, squares, and hidden-away places. While on Bahnhofstrasse – one of the most famous shopping streets in the world, which stretches for 1.4 kilometers from the main railway station to the lake – fashionists can discover newest trends from all over the world. Strung along it like pearls on a necklace are department stores, boutiques, watchmakers and jewelry shops such as Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Tissot, Prada, Tommy Hilfiger.
The city is also a stone’s throw from the Swiss Alps, which promise spectacular views.
